Name: Hali Drezet
Birthdate: August 24, 1998 Hometown: Prince George, BC Current School: Thompson Rivers University Year Eligibility: 3rd Main Sport: Volleyball Position: Libero Height: 173cm Coaches: Chad Grimm More about me... Sibling: Jordan Drezet, older sister Parents: Kim Forrest, Dan Drezet Goals: My goal is to play 5 years of CIS volleyball. After I finish playing post secondary volleyball, I would like to move to Europe and play professional volleyball. I would also be honoured to have the opportunity to represent my country. I plan to play volleyball for as long as I physically can, however, I am planning to eventually have a career in Education. Other interests and hobbies: I really enjoy reading and spending time with my family. Training, competing and studying take up a lot of my day but I always make sure to take time to walk my dog and to go running with my mom. |

How I got started...
My sister, Jordan, is six years older than me.She started playing volleyball when I was six years old. Strangely, we both wear uniform number 6! During her high school years my parents always coached Jordan, so naturally, I tagged along to all of her games and practices. When I was in grade two, I learned how to serve overhand. Generally, most kids learn that skill when they are grade seven or eight. When I first started practising with my sister's teams I would mostly just take part in serving drills. As I got older I would join in during more of the drills such as hitting or passing. In Jordan's senior year in high school I participated in all of her practices. When she left to attend university, my mom began coaching my high school and club teams.
